PAST

where it all started

Nexmedia is our corporate name, established in roughly 2018 — but the same company has existed under many brand names since 2001.

In 2001, our CEO, then just a young PC Technician, started Here 2 Repair, a mobile computer repair business. Whether it was him, the universe, the timing, or a combination of all three, we’ve never stopped since that day.

Back in 2001, the PC (Personal Computer) was the it thing — the way AI is today, and smartphones were in the previous decades. The CEO, or the “Boss Man,” realized something important: while the computer repair business existed, it wasn’t easily accessible. Shops were popping up in plazas, but taking a computer there was a nightmare.
Computers were bulky, monitors weren’t flat yet, they were heavy, and there were countless cables to disconnect and reconnect.

His solution: instead of taking the computer to the shop, what if the shop came to you?

So one day — after getting fired from his job — he grabbed some tools, placed a few ads, borrowed his last $150 from an American Express card, and launched the mobile repair
business.

The company grew exponentially over the next 6 years. By 2007, it had become the largest computer repair business in Northern California, employing over a dozen staff and performing hundreds of service calls per month.

Then came 2008 — the global financial crisis that spared no one. At the same time, consumers shifted to mobile phones, and PC use was projected to decline. With both forces hitting at once, the business suffered, and by 2010, it was nearly bankrupt with only
the Boss Man and one technician remaining.

But what good would we be at fixing things if we couldn’t fix our own circumstances?

Between 2008 and 2010, a new business model was created — one that focused only on
business clients and proactive IT support. After several years of marketing and transitions, the Managed IT model took shape in 2013. By 2015, the company was supporting hundreds of commercial clients and thousands of users across the country.

By 2020, the company achieved a level of success beyond expectations, and all marketing was shut down. Our clients stay with us for incredibly long periods — mainly because of the
team that supports them.

In 2021, on the company’s 20th birthday, the Boss Man — now officially the CEO — handed all key operations to a trusted team and stepped back from day-to-day work. During this time, he also became more involved in his son’s education and quickly saw major systemic problems. After several years of struggling with the school system, he concluded that it was broken beyond repair and decided to build his own.

PRESENT

where we are working on

On 9/15/2025, on his son’s 10th birthday, the CEO launched YAS Academy.

YAS Academy is a real academy, with real teachers and real structure — yet it focuses on just one student. To the outside world, it may look like a fantasy. But reliving his own journey and observing his son firsthand, the CEO determined that today’s education
system — knowingly or unknowingly — holds students back.

Kids spend almost the entire day at school, then go home with unrealistic amounts of homework. By 18, most graduates have no idea what career they want. This is a level of injustice that society should question globally.

We underestimate how intelligent children are. They are an evolution of us. Each child inherits previous knowledge and then builds their own. Considering this, he created an education model that challenges the norm: a total of 5 intense, focused years is enough to
begin a career.

He used his own life as a case study: graduated at 16, tried 20+ jobs between 18 and 20, then launched his company at 21. That company — Nexmedia — still provides value to thousands and provides financial security for his son.

Seeing that no such system existed, he created YAS Academy to be a life accelerator. He believes that with discipline, emotional support, guidance, and leadership, a child can finish all learning by age 15. While most kids graduate at 18, this system gives a child three extra years to explore careers, test jobs, and start life ahead.

Student 1 — the CEO’s son — is fully on track, studying math, writing, nanotechnology,
politics, business, relationships, human nature, evolution, and more.

FUTURE

where we are going

STUDENT 1 VISION

2025 to 2030

His final year at the academy will be at age 15, working inside the academy and earning a paycheck. That money will be saved and used to start his first startup. From ages 15 to 18,
he is encouraged to fail as much as possible. More learning comes from failure than success. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

CEO VISION

2025 to 2030

The CEO will retire from anything that resembles business or capital. He will pass the CEO title to his son — if he chooses to accept it.

If accepted, he will be asked to “FUCK UP” every business model that puts profits before
customers and employees.

Take Out Billionaires

Use capitalism to fight capitalism. The goal is to restore balance between profit, hard work, and intelligence. The future should be billionaire-free.

Not because CEOs are villains — they aren’t. They play by the rules created by democracy and capitalism. They know when to bend rules and the cost of breaking them.

The only solution: create a new generation of humans — like Student 1 — who are immune to greed and extreme attraction to money. Their focus will be the human experience.

Eliminate Modern Slavery (40-Hour Work Week)

The CEO could never hold a job for over 90 days. Working like a machine felt suffocating. After struggling with jobs for years, he started his own company — and never worked a day in his life again.

His conclusion: humans can work more than 40 hours if motivation is right. But today’s environments lack motivation. Burnout ruins customer experience.

Student 1 and future CEOs will design a 4-day workweek: one day for self, one for relationships, one for organization and reflection.

Also… Friday is the CEO’s favorite day. And let’s be honest — nobody fully works on Fridays.

Eliminate Sales Culture

Companies started by Student 1 will not have Sales or Marketing departments.

If a product is good enough, it doesn’t need selling — there will be a waiting list.

Limit Profits

Technology allows companies to generate massive profits quickly. But large profits pull resources out of the economy and into the hands of elites — where most of it sits unused.

Meanwhile, those who helped generate that wealth struggle with basic needs. The new models created by Student 1 will reduce corporate profits, while giving employees fair salaries and high incentives for exceeding performance standards.

Five to Fifteen Years Retirement

The current model forces humans to spend their prime years working, only to reach retirement and find healthcare unaffordable. The CEO believes this system is a scam.

Highly intelligent people can reach financial freedom in 5 years. For most — including the CEO — 15 years should be the maximum intense work period.

At around age 30, individuals can start families and pick revenue models aligned with passion, creating better health, lower stress, and strong family culture.

“The purpose of work was to provide security and resources for ourselves and our loved
ones. Anything beyond that is manmade problems.” — CEO

We are building a connected digital ecosystem designed to rethink how businesses operate, how education works, and how stories are told. This work spans multiple brands and identities and is part of a long-term vision focused on disruption through simplicity, clarity, and real-world impact.

Our belief is simple: business should serve people before profit, education should be accelerated and practical, and storytelling should be used as a tool to teach, inspire, and challenge outdated systems.

What We’re Building (Initial Scope)

You’ll work on three WordPress websites, all intentionally simple and framework-first:

A minimal, professional site that represents a company focused on new business models — moving away from the traditional 40-hour work week, rigid employment structures, and outdated corporate thinking. The emphasis is on entrepreneurship, flexibility, and people-first operations.

A long-term storytelling platform. This is writing-focused and distraction-free. The stories published here will later be reused across education, business thinking, and broader content initiatives.

A public-facing site for a new education model designed to accelerate learning. The long-term vision is to enable students to complete their education in under five years, graduate as early as age 15, and begin building real careers sooner. For now, this site focuses on vision, philosophy, and curriculum — not online courses or learning platforms.

All three sites will share a unified brand system, consistent layout and visual language, reusable templates, and clean, minimal design choices.
